Imperial Security Services Inc. has created an expansion office in Charlotte and added 35 employees.
The company announced in July 2009 that it had subleased space at 6800 Solectron Drive adjacent to University Research Park for its new facility.
Imperial Security Services, Inc. is one of the largest contract security companies in the U.S., with over 2,000 employees throughout the country. Established in 1968 and headquartered in Memphis, Imperial specializes in security services for wide range of industries including: distribution, transportation, logistics, technology, manufacturing, petrochemical, commercial real estate, and the hospitality, education and healthcare sectors. In addition to contract security, Imperial offers a full range of investigative services such as undercover operations, covert surveillance, executive protection, detective services and criminal investigations.
Imperial cites Charlotte's vibrant business environment as a key reason for establishing the new office. "We believe Charlotte is one of the nation's most thriving cities," says Robert Steffman, Regional Director. "A number of our existing clients recognize the benefits of doing business in Charlotte and asked us to expand our services here. Through our expansion to Charlotte, we will be able to continue to provide quality security solutions to our customers and offer proven services to other organizations that seek cost effective ways to protect their assets."
