8 days of plays, concerts at UNC Charlotte

Eight days of concerts and theater await you beginning tonight at UNC Charlotte!

ONE-ACT PLAY FESTIVAL – Enjoy this bare-bones collection of one-act plays featuring student directors, designers, and performers, staged in the Lab Theater at Robinson Hall. Shows are 8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday (Dec. 3-6) and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7. TICKETS are $10 general admission; $5 for seniors and students.

8 CONCERTS IN EIGHT DAYS - Musical performances range from holiday to classical, with ticket prices that hard to beat (including free performances of the Charlotte Youth Orchestra and the Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo). TICKETS for all other performances are $6 general admission; $4 for seniors or students.
All the concerts will take place in Robinson Hall, which faces University City Boulevard at Suther Road. Here are the upcoming performances:

• Charlotte Youth Orchestra (free)?8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.
• String Chamber Ensembles/Chamber Orchestra?- 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7.
• Wind Ensemble and Chamber Ensembles – 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8.
• Symphonic Band?- 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9.
